Braised Chilli Tofu

This Korean-style braised tofu recipe is the perfect winter warmer!

Ingredients

  • 300g fresh firm tofu
  • 2 spring onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1-2 ladles fresh vegetable stock
The Braising Liquid
  • 1 tbsp Korean chilli powder (gochugaru)
  • 1 ½ tbsp light soy sauce or gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Method

Slice the tofu into ½cm thick slices. Then roughly chop the spring onions and garlic.

Mix the ‘The Braising Liquid’ ingredients together in a ramekin.
