Beef Kway Teow

A super easy and delicious recipe for a midweek dinner, this beef kway teow will be an instant favourite!

Ingredients

  • 450-500 gram Serloin steak (thinly slice)
  • 300 grams of fresh rice noodles (soak as per packet instructions if using dry) 
  • Handful of beansprouts
  • Handful Chinese chives, cut into thirds
  • 3 cloves of garlic finely chopped
  • 2 Tsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tsp oyster sauce
  • 2 Tbsp kecap manis
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce 
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Marinade

  • 2 Tsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Method

 Add the beef to the marinade ingredients and massage and mix well. Add the cornstarch and oil last to coat the beef.
